University of Auckland

Established in 1883, the University of Auckland is New Zealand’s leading, research-led university. In the QS Stars rating, the University of Auckland is rated as a Five Stars Plus institution for excellence in the categories: Research, Employability, Teaching, Facilities, Internationalisation, Innovation and Inclusiveness. It is also the only New Zealand university ranked in the top 100 in the QS World University Rankings and in the top 200 in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings.

The University of Auckland is the largest university in the country. Most students attend the main City Campus, which is located in the heart of Auckland close to the city’s main transport hubs, the bustling central business district, shops, theatres and social scene.
